René Jr Landry,

René Jr Landry is professor at the department of electrical engineering at Ècole de technologie supérieure and the Director of LASSENA Laboratory. His expertise in the embedded systems, navigation and avionic is appliqued notably in the field of transport, aeronautic and space technologies. Graduated in 1992 from École Polytechnique of Montréal in the Space Technologies concentration of the electrical engineering department, he has done a Master of Science in Satellite Communication Engineering at the University of Surrey (Guildford, United Kingdom) in 1993, a master in space electronics and a DEA in microwave at ISAE (Toulouse, France) in 1994 and his PhD on GPS anti-jamming technologies in collaboration with the French civil aviation (DGAC) and Thales in Toulouse. After a year as postdoctoral fellow at the National French Space Agency (CNES, Toulouse) and European Space Agency (ESA, Noordwick, Netherlands), he has joined ÉTS in 1999. Professor Landry is also a professional flight pilot with instrument flight rules, multi engines and water planes qualifications.
